Im usually down for Free Leauge, but the city book looks Duck heavy, and that's a deal breaker for me.

I might pledge for the magic book and I would definitely pay for a copy of that map.

Do you mean the illustrations or the NPCs? I replace the ducks with cranky humans (or humanoids) in my campaign.

While I am mostly interested in the Magic book, the Arkand book likes like it will be an underrated book for running an urban campaign or a possible port city for a sailing campaign. Ducks are probably the easiest thing to swap out.

I originally was looking forward to the magic book much more than Arkand, but I've since learned that Arkand is more than just a setting. It's going to have adventure seeds throughout, but also full adventures, mapped out room by room, and at least three separate campaign "ideas" if you want to tie everything together. Now I'm equally excited for both of them.

I’m truly astounded by the people who don’t like the Mallards in their campaigns. That’s what got my group to even give the system a shot. That said, I do like the idea of them being cranky humans if there needs to be a palette swap.
