Spritewing looks at the closed psionic doors leading out of the labyrinth. He can hear the door whispering to him. Urging him to stay. The glowing, psionic words on the door shift from Sylvan to Dwarven and then back to Sylvan again."Spritewing! Get up there and get the wizard to safety! Come back if you can! As soon as you can! Someone will speak dwarven above."
Shouts Rockhorn at his steed before looking at Custodio.
OOC: Spritewing can speak the phrase to unseal the doors, but he cannot open the double doors with his hooves. I will have him speak the phrase on his turn.
Custodio looks back from the gargoyle-room when Rockhorn shouts at him. He knows the wild dwarf is probably right. Still, there is a part of him that won't let him kill a helpless foe. It goes against his teachings. If it was a monstrous foe, then he would do it. But, she is human. He shakes his head.MetaVoid said:"Well, kill her then! Don't leave an enemy behind we cannot capture!"
He looks for the moment like he will charge at the prone woman, but stops before fully committing.
"Do not fret over her life, Vanquisher," Gattas says to him from the other side of the room. "If you cannot bring yourself to do it, then I will end her life. If they recover her, she will probably face worse than death for her failure."
"I would rather have Tim gather her up as he retreats," Custodio replies. "But, if he cannot... without putting himself at risk..." He shakes his head. "No, continue to retreat to the doors out of this place. Help Spritewing get the doors open."
Gattas nods.
Eeldai steps back in unison with Rockhorn. The knight hesitates until he sees that the genie is following Rockhorn's lead. He nods and steps back as well, but he keeps his guard up.MetaVoid said:"I cannot lose so much space, I'm too slow without Spritewing."
He steps back motioning behind him to Eeldai and deaf-mute knight to follow suit. Still, his hand is tense, axe at the ready.
Tuck shoulders his pack and prepares to run. "Go! I'm right behind you!"Akos is too close to melee for his own comfort. There are bad experiences with these guys that know to grapple him, to keep him silent and worst, that have ready cold iron weapons.
Still, there are normal humans among them.
"Tuck! We have to go! Run!"
Akos words completely envelope the woman standing behind the low wall. Her mind buckles and Akos magic takes away her will to fight. She stands up and looks at the dark creature behind her. The thing is a horrid reminder what might befall her if Phelix choose to steal her soul as he has down to the man once known as Imninon.Neurotic said:"You, cultists, you really should take heed and abandon your master while you still have a chance. Dealing with these kind of critters..." [/COLOR]he motions toward Kellam and the creature behind the lines as he catches the eye of the woman in the back "...you really should reconsider your priorities. Humans have no way of coming on top when the top is taken by monsters. There is much to be said on allying with us. Or maybe staying with the altar depending on your own decision. Master Lowenan is safe even now along with his companions. Can you say the same?"
He looks over the humans in the group and nods, the effect spoiled partially by him retreating back toward the line of warriors.
She is unsure of what to do, but she feels it is folly to attack the Loremaster and his allies. "Perhaps... there is another way," she mumbles to herself.
Tim knows the loremaster is right, but he holds his ground until Tuck is clear.Neurotic said:"Tim, Vitus, you really should move back. Vitus!"
