Aureus listened intently to Rikiron's words about The Gloom and its dangers. 'What did Bastiaan say', she thinks. The androsphinx's story about the knight mentioned that the the man's squire had fallen due to the corrupting influence of the The Gloom. 'I wish we had asked him what that meant.' She finishes updating the journal's maps with the changes the inevitable mentioned. There isn't room for everything, but she works diligently to add more details with her quill and ink. She also pulls out her own maps and adds more detail to them as well, although at the larger scale, she has to pick and choose what to add. She flips the map over and write a few details on the back in her own language. Then, she goes back into Stratesus's journal and begins looking at all of Caerth's notes. It takes a bit of time, as her understanding of Harqualian is still new, especially in written form. The journal has one section that goes into detail about The Gloom in great detail, but a lot of it seems, from Caerth's notes, to be about how the demiplane corrupts plants and animals. "Hmm," she reads one of Caerth's additions out loud. "The Gloom can corrupt the body and the mind.
