Kyle XY

I found it ironic that the guy in the truck was one of the better villains of the X-Files series.

Krycek isn't a villain. He wants to save the world from the invasion by working with the aliens long enough to come up with a way to fight against them. Same as C.G.B. Spender (this one's more debatable). Certainly an antagonist, but I wouldn't call him a villain.

Yeah, but while his intentions were possibly noble (in at least his eyes) his actions were commonly criminal and dispicable. He acted against good people sometimes to further his goals.

My fifty year old mother likes it. I found it interesting, but more of a supernatural teen show rather than a sci-fi show.

As a straight male, I emphasized with the erection episode. :heh:

Finished up the series to date. Wow, I really like it a lot better than I thought I would. The mystery is moving along fairly nicely, and I like the voiceover. It's just interesting watching the character literally evolve from nothing at all.

Was it me or did our dearly departed "local scientist" who was in Kyle's memories look like one of the actors who played one of the lone gunmen from the X-Files?

I was shocked to read that there are only 10 shows (see news page), this may explain why the show is moving at a quick pace.

Yeah, but an article from Sci-Fi channels' website sounds like ABC has committed to the series. I'm glad it's made it this far.

I'm curious if they plan tom wrap it up after the 10 episodes or keep try to keep it going. I really would be happy to just have this as a 10 episode short series.

Also, keep in mind it's still summer (ie time where networks often "test-run" new shows). The fall season is still some time off. We may have more episodes before we know it.
