L4W Discussion Thread IV

Hm... I really need to learn some more patience, lol. I'm sitting on Enworld refreshing pages waiting for stuff to move forward!

I guess that's good and bad. Good because I'm enjoying my games enough to be impatient to continue them, and bad because I am not continuing them fast enough! ;)

I just have three, talking the talk, playing the game, and living 4e, and use the "refresh all tabs". It saves you tons of time for you to check other important things (like facebook lol) on the web, or just look for bizarre stuff on google.
I think I'm a more experience user, that's all, heh.

Refresh all tabs!? That'd be murder on FF. Enworld isn't the only set of tabs I have up. I've got D20SRD tabs up, a couple other forms and my living character sheets (the 4th edition ones) up. Refreshing them all would take awhile. Though, I am curious where that option is.

I'm not sure which character is on the way, but one of my two characters is going to head over to Blorstrob, Eisenfeld & Grimm, number 3 Eisenstrasse, Daunton, ASAP! ;)

Veruzak would love to question Dodx3, and I'm sure Kamotz and Tander could get along.

I've been thinking of different ideas for a second character and the concept I currently like the most is a Wilden Warden that was born of the sea. His little corner of the shifting seas where this band of Wildens lived has fallen to the corruption of the Far Realms. The last remaining survivor of his tribe, this PC is a Warden, vowed to protect the seas, particularly to restore his little ocean grove of coral and seaweed.

I like the idea of a Wilden that isn't all trees and leaves, but rather from the sea. And I could add some nice seafaring twists to the description fluff of the Warden powers.

However, I think this race has only been in a playtest and is being released in PH3. Am I right that the race is NOT approved for L4W even though it appears in the DDI Character Builder? If that's true, then I would need to wait until April (1 month after PH3 is released) to get a Wilden approved?

Crap

I wonder if we can collect on Tander's corpse, though? Oh, and Woe's braids are not matted with filth! (though they may be matted with pieces of flesh golem)

Correct. The same for Monk, Hybrids, Skill Powers (or whatever they're called) or anything else listed as Playtest. Rationale for this is that if there are significant changes it creates a lot of heated debate over which one to use, grandfathering rules, etc. (read the Minotaur thread for an example). To avoid any hard feelings it is simpler to wait until the final product is released.

P.S. I'm super busy at work today so I probably won't have time to update my games until either tonight or tomorrow.
