Lagrange Point Question

Mark Chance

Boingy! Boingy!
Okay. Space question for space experts:

Would it be possible to have a space station at Lagrange point 1 between the Earth and the Moon so that the station would maintain a stationary orbit with consistent distances between itself and the Moon and itself and Earth?

Bonus Question: If so, what would those distances be?

Possible? Yes, but it would require continual station-keeping. L1-L3 aren't inherently stable points.

L1 is on the direct line between Earth centre of mass and moon's centre of mass about 330,000 km from the Earth's centre of mass.
