Large and In Charge

Hypersmurf

Moderatarrrrh...
If a character is forced back 5' via Large and in Charge, how does it affect their remaining movement?

eg Character with 30' speed advances 10' on an ogre, suffers a LaiC AoO, and is forced back 5'.

1. He has 20' remaining of his Move action and can continue advancing.
2. He has 15' remaining of his Move action and can continue advancing.
3. His Move action is over, but he can trade his standard action for another move and advance (but not attack).
4. He cannot advance further, but can make a standard action as per normal (cast a spell, throw a dagger, etc).
5. His turn is over.

Generally speaking, you are not forced to make a decision ahead of time and stick to it. Case in point is the full attack action. I may state I am full attacking, but if my foe drops from the first blow, I can switch to a standard action and move instead, as long as everything is legal in retrospect. The same goes here, I think, although I do not have a copy of the feat Large and in Charge. I would assume that the person is simply penalized five feet? How does it read?

I agree with #3

It reads:
When you make a successful AoO against an opponent who is moving inside your threatened area, you can force the opponent back to the square he was in before he provoked the attack. .................. the opponent is pushed back 5 feet into the square he just left.
