She is still alive as far as I know. Just a woman that was an erotic model. Maybe the most famous erotic model however.

Just an erotic model? Just an erotic model?! The woman has been a shapely, voluptuous slice of Americana for decades now! Show some respect for the curves of yesteryear, son! Sheesh...

Umm, sorry...Anyway, yeah, she's still alive. She lives, I believe, in California. She's apparently pretty reclusive - no interviews or public appearances or anything, because she wants to be remembered as the brunette bombshell she was way back when.

Don't get me wrong Tewligan, I love Bettie. But she isn't the only erotic model in the world. She is however the most famous and possibly the only one to register on the minds of Americans. There are other curvy models.

We don't have Americana around here; we've got Kiwiana instead. It's mostly limited to large wooden insects and camping on the beach at Christmas. I can't help feeling we got the short end of the stick somehow...

But that Elmore chap, he's not too bad, eh? Even if he's never drawn pants in his long, long career.

Maybe he was just never able to get the hang of painting realistic looking pants, and swore to never portray a pants-wearing character. Same deal with shirts.
