Last Issue of Dungeon

I got my last issue of Dungeon. It was good, but I was actually surprised by how sad I was when I got to the list of signatures from the folks at the end. Goodbye to something I've enjoyed for years, and kudos to the folks who put it together.

P.S.: I also thought it nice that Wizards bought a full-page farewell ad.

Yeah, cool issue. I really enjoyed Kill Bargle - that brings back memories. I want to find some non-gamers and run that for them!

The index was great. I need to go back and take some more time looking through it.

The interesting thing for me is that as much as I'm bummed Dungeon is ending, I'm really psyched for Pathfinder. Paizo seems to be firing on all cylinders right now.

Got mine too. Great issue, but man I was bummed about it ending.

It was a horrible horrible decision. It will be remembered as vile an act as the first cancellation of Star Trek.

Does that mean Pathfinder is The Next Generation? :)

Maybe, but let's hope we're picking up about "Best of Both Worlds 1" rather than "Encounter at Farpoint" or "Shades of Gray."

I think the analogy would be more akin to Pathfinder being Babylon 5. Inspired by Star Trek, but going in a different direction.

No, no, no, you don't want to jump the shark in the first issue! :D
