Lasting Threat

Lasting Threat (Fighter Level 1 Daily) says "no mark can supersede this". If the fighter mark the target with this power, and on his turn another fighter or paladin also mark the creature, what happens? The creature attacks with -2 to all attacks?

Nothing happens. Normally, anyone marking the target of Lasting Threat would over-ride the fighters mark who used the daily. That's the general case. In this specific case the power specifically says the mark can't be over ridden, so no one else can mark the target. Specific thrumps, general.

Exactly. In other words, the only way to end the mark is to kill the Fighter...which is the point of the power. :D

Edit: Actually, I think it technically drops off when the Fighter gets knocked unconscious...but saying you have to kill him is so much cooler sounding!

You cannot be affected by multiple instances of the same condition at the same time. Since Marked is a condition (on page 277 of the PHB), you can only ever be marked by one enemy.

Normally new marks supercede old ones, but in the case of Lasting Threat no new mark can eliminate that power's mark (because its text provides a rules exception).
