According to the WotC catalog it's a box set with Races of the Wild, Destiny, and Stone hardbacks in it.

Guess there are alot of THOSE in the warehouse, bundle and resell them.

Meh. I own RoS, and will probably Get RoW. I don't need. RoD. I'll pass.

Am I reading this right... The "Fantastic Locations" stuff is just 16 pages, and sells for $14.95 US!! That's gotta be a mistake. That's almost $23 CDN after tax.

Yeah, they sell just as badly as the Core books. Its the only reason they ever make gift sets.

;)

I believe they're also going to include miniatures-scale maps and other extras.

Yeah, I'm a magic-head, but those all caught my eyes more than the rest.

Heroes of Horror will be a must, I know it'll make my upcoming RL game deeper and richer. As with the SEPH, the SEDMG will be a must for this diehard 3.5 collector. As for the gift set, I can only hope it compiles the three core rulebooks into one hardback.

Cool. 90 (89.95 to be precise) dollars for a set of what would otherwise cost $60 (3x19.77=59.31 from Amazon). Color me not interested.

If it included Races of Eberron, then it could be interesting. But $30 just for a box? I don't get the "three for the price of four" advertising slogan, there.

As a magic junkie, I'm interested in the Magic of Eberron and Magic of Incarnum books. Maybe in the Spell Compendium too, depends on what exactly it will contain. Also, depending on the extra included, the Fantastic Locations could be interesting. If, for example, the Fane of the Drow one includes a couple of minis like the Drow Cleric of Lolth (CE's only Commander 5 to date in the skirmish game), yowza!
