Dench Says Brosnan Still 007

The New York Post recent talked to Dame Judi Dench who reached a whole new fanbase in recent years playing James Bond's boss 'M' in the four Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies. During the chat, she revealed she will likely reprise the role in the upcoming 007 flick "Casino Royale."

Although Pierce Brosnan believed he wouldn't be back, Dench says he will return a fifth time. "Despite the fact that everyone on the face of the Earth has been tested as his possible replacement, he'll be doing it again, and it'll be announced come summer."

Martin Campbell is directing 'Royale' which is scheduled for a November 17th 2006 release.

Most polls want him back, most fans want him back, I know I would like to see him back.

Casino had a number of Bonds in it so we may see him, Tim and Sean if a true remake of the movie. ;)

Can't be as bad as Roger Moore in A View to A Kill - Fat Bond in Sans-a-belt slacks! ugh! I think Brosnan's still got at least one movie left in him, but I won't weep if they move on. I just wish they'd have a movie that was at least close to as good as GoldenEye was.

The only problem I have with Brosnan as Bond is that he's really starting to look too old to do that kinda stuff.

I just saw him in "After the Sunset." He spent most of the movie with his shirt either off or half open. I commented to my wife that, for a guy who is supposedly to "old" to play Bond, he was still in great shape. She agreed.

Good to hear Martin Campbell is back. I've always liked his directing. But the biggest thing that has hurt the latest Bond films had more to do with the writing though. I'm crossing my fingers. I've always been a big Bond fan . . . here's hoping.
