Two of them hit! (Rolled two natural 20's) The damage from one tentacle heals immediately, the other one does 7-5= 2 points of damage. The grimlock has 11 hp left and ignores the effects of the poison.

Round 168:

The tentacle wraps around the fungus and constricts! (Rolled 25 vs. 15 grapple check)

5 points of grapple damage and 12 points of constrict damage! The fungus pops like a zit!

The voidmind grimlock enters the Hall of Fame! :)

A humanoid-shaped mass of fiery energy enters the arena and flies to 60N 105E 30Z and blasts the land-locked goon with a blast of fire.
 

Hit! (Rolled 15 touch) The goon fails to dodge (rolled 9 Ref save) and takes 8 points of damage! L.L. goon has 3 hp left.

Round 169:

L.L. goon tries to spray another cone of acid goo, but it just dribbles out of his skull and down his neck. Instead he readies his tentacle and prays his opponent is stupid enough to come down to his level.

Energy man blasts away. He hits, but the goon dodges and takes 1. Goon has 2 hp left.

Round 170: Blast for 1. Goon has 1 hp left.

Round 171: Blast for 2!

Round 172: The goon is defeated!

Next up for LE: an imp. (MM) OOC: Time to redeem yourself!

The imp goes first in round 172. His only alternate form is a raven.
 

OOC: fast-healing vs. regeneration, glass half empty. Resistance to fire 5 - glass full!

Irwin the Imp, having seen his cousins getting minced, flies to 60N 30E 15Z and then goes invisible.

Invisible Irwin irately intercepts the intruder by initiating an invasion of the interior of said ingrate's, er, square. [Irwin charges into energy man's square and tries to apply beatings]
 

Round 173

The imp charges to 60N105E30Z and tries to sting E-man. The tail flies through as if he wasn't there!

E-man backs up 5 feet fo 60N110E30Z and fires. Hits! (Rolled 17 touch) The imp fails to dodge (rolled 8 Ref save) and takes 6-5=1 point of damage. The imp has 12 hp left.
 


Round 174

Irwin moves to 60N110E30Z. His tail goes straight through E-man.

E-man steps to 60N105E30Z and blasts Irwin. (Rolled 20 touch) Irwin fails to dodge, (rolled 8 Ref save) but takes no damage! He heals his previous damage and has 13 hp left.
 

Irwin's feeling pretty safe - so compress away if you like. If it goes 4 rounds with no damage, Irwin will try a 5' flap back then use Suggestion to tell the critter to flee the arena as a last ditch effort.
