Can my cohort I obtain from the leadership feat, have the leadership feat?

lol, I suppose so, but I guess there is two built in restrictions.

A) at level 8, at max, your cohort can be 6? and his 4? and his 2?
B) if you had the above, you would be hard press keeping #4 and #2 alive in encounters suited for #8..

Hrm, and I guess the level 6 and 4 cant have the leadership feat anyway.

Yeah, and at level 20 you can have a string of wizards with greater invisibility buffing you...

First ,there is the issue of whether someone with the Leadership feat would be looking for 'an apprenticeship, employment or a leader they can look up to'. The higher the level of your PC, the less of an issue this becomes, of course. However, your DM would have to either design such an NPC or let you do so. The latter is just asking for trouble, in my opinion. If I were DM, I would design the NPC for you but he or she would be (a) pretty hard to find in the first place and then (b) even harder to please.

Player may get cohort and then have them take the feat.

Also, they can all add apprentices from the apprentice/mentor rules.

Ugly.

The DM can handle it if they are good. Other PCs may not like it. Even if the cohorts help everyone, that player could be handling 60% of the action while everyone else waits around.

Friends and I were talking about leadership. You could have a Dungeon clean up crew taking anything worth money and selling it for you.

You could have a ton of cohorts and just have the grand opening of the Dungeon. Just all your buddies rushing in and attacking anything they see where all the enemies get freaked out that like 20 people just busted through the doors not caring about anything.

Give all your dudes Magic Missile. They will hit no matter what level they are. Everyone in your game has Leadership and you give your cohorts leadership and buy extra cohorts. Just go CRAZY!
