Leap Attack Damage

This is the description of the leap attack feat : You can combine a jump with a charge against an opponent. If you cover at least 10 feet of horizontal distance with your jump, and you end your jump in a square from which you threaten your target, you can double the extra damage dealt by your use of the Power Attack feat. If you use this tactic with a two-handed weapon, you instead triple the extra damage from Power Attack.

I now want to ask : If i use a greataxe and use my power attack feat (-1 attack bonus +2 damage) with a leap attack, will i get +6 damage for every (-1) attack bonus or the multiplier will be form X2 to X3 therefore +3 damage for every (-1) according to the rules of leap attack?

I don't understand where the +6 came from, it'd either be +4 for every -1 if you think the 2-for-1 trade-off is doubled; or +3 for every -1 if you think 2H PA is already a doubling and thus with Leap Attack would be a x3 due to 3E's multiplication rules.

Note the is errata for Leap Attack (in C.Adv errata), which I've seen many argue makes it clear the intent was 4x, but my last DM wasn't convinced and said the line the errata replaces did nothing to resolve the issue, and stuck with x3 for his game. I rule it as +4 damage per point of penalty. I don't think it's too broken on its own; in the other interpretation, you need to take at least a -3 penalty to hit in order to exceed the benefit of Weapon Specialization, which most consider an underpowered feat anyway, and even then, only on a charge. On the other hand, I've also sought to "power-up" WS, so...
