Can anyone tell me which of the three special edition 3.5e core rulebooks (leather bound) have errata not found in the regular editions?

This is a very nice copy of the 3.5 rules. It's especially important to note that this copy of the book contains the errata that was valid at the time they printed it.

My leatherbound PHB has errata. However, it came out before they changed around wildshape and polymorph, so that stuff isn't changed.

Would you say there is enough errata to make the purchase worthwhile?

Hold on a second. Didn't the later (regular) prints of the core rulebooks contain the same errata found in the special editions? In fact, I'm fairly certain they were labeled as such on the title page...

They did - check the printing information. The PHB and DMG (at least) have a "Special Edition" tag when they're basically a reprint of the deluxe covers.

Cheers!

Merric,

Can you (or someone) give me a sense of how much errata changes are in the SE PHB and DMG? Since I'm planning on running 3.5e til the end of time, I want to know if I should upgrade before they disappear off the shelves...

Thanks.

Sorry I'm not providing any further information on your question, but I'd like to know the answer myself. While I'm certainly not planning on dishing out any money for the leatherbound editions, I have considered upgrading to the "Special Edition" updates of the core rulebooks. However, not knowing for sure the major differences has kept me on the fence for several years.

Errata

I can't say for the PHB or DMG, but the leather bound Monster Manual does incorporate the errata. At least the changes to alternate form on page 305. I figure if one change was made they probably all were.
