Sorry, I didn't literally mean throw it away, as my enormous collection belies. And yes, I use maps as such often, as well.

And I'm sorry, because I figured you weren't being literal, and thought I'd be funny and take it literally. :]

And now we're apologizing at each other on the internet, which I think isn't supposed to happen.

I won't use this method with the first metaplot (I'll just run the adventures), but I might as time goes on. I think it's an interesting way to tine one's table into what other D&D player's are talking about.
