The Vault of Larin Karr!
Capizzio and Kerlan approach the three stone steps. As they draw closer they can see that there are runes inscribed on and above the pair of iron doors. The three stairs before them are likewise inscribed copiously with runes. They stand before the first step, thinking, when the ground nearby erupts and a Xorn enters the cave. The wizards might recognize this Xorn, if all Xorns didn't look so much alike to surface dwellers. The Xorn does not, however, make any threatening moves toward any of the wizards. Instead, he lays a small bag of purple cloth at the feet of Capizzio and Kerlan, bows to them and bows again to the other wizards, says in Common that is not only broken, but crushed to smithereens, "Thank you," and then slowly sinks back into the earth.
