OK I love to paint, but have been without my supplies for months because of moving complications. I miss the hobby, could you post some pictures of the work you have or are currently doing?

I also have been unable to paint since October due to moving problems. Wah! My painting desk ended up in a corner with no outlet, so I cant have light without running an extension cord. I have a new Natural Light bulb I wanted to try out too. And I have an ever growing pile of figures I want to get to - the latest being the Warlord Familiar Pack. (GF says: "Huh. A little Carrion Crawler. Who has a Carrion Crawler for a familiar?" Me: "He's so cute though!")

So no pictures to offer, but I can share your pain.

Here's a pic of my new fey'ri character. That sucks about not being able to paint. When I went to Japan for a semester, I didn't take any of my paints, models, or figures. I couldn't take it. though, and ended up buying models and supplies while i was there. My host family thought I was crazy since there was no decent place to properly work on models in the house.

That's good use of color- a good example of what can be done without shading or highlighting.

Thanks. One thing I've never gotten into doing was using shading and highlighting extensively. Here's another example of some of my work.

Silverhand - Anne painted mine exactly like this as a nemisis for my Campaign.

I forget where this picture came from...but I like the mini.
It is probably from Fantization's website.
The only difference is that Anne made the outside of his cloak Purple.
