It actually doesn't take anything into account except the 13 encouters per level and 4 encounters per day. The OP doesn't even specify 4 player party.

Only problem I see with the calculations is Curing - if you use 25% of your resources each encounter, 4 encounters a day, then in theory you wouldn't have any Cures left to get everyone up to full HP at the end of the day.

But then again, this doesn't take into account Curing or Regeneration items, so...

Actually, if they use up 100% of everything then it is a TPK at the end of the last fight on day 1.....
