Level Adjustments vs Racial Levels

I think one of the things they need to do in 4e is to make sure that, for all critters, LA=0. Lots of things would be simpler if HD=CR=level were true.

Slightly off topic, but be definition they can't be. CR is an appropriate challenge for 4 PCs for that level. It is still my belief that already a PC race with a PC class level of 10 is NOT a CR 10 encounter, despite what the book says. Most of the time they are easily beaten by a party of level 10. Compared to a CR 10 creature from the monster manual, it is normally a large difference in difficulty.

Ehrr, but thats impossible. All creatures are not created equal and thus some of them most have a LA if they are to be played along weaker races.

Otherwise any creature that for instance is more intelligent than for instance a human should also have more HD. That does not make sense.

As long as people stray from playing Awakened half celestial dire bear half dragons and the likes the sytem works pretty well.

Sure it does, just make them 1d1 HD (or 1d0 HD for that matter) that have aweful saves and no BAB progression. The LAs are costing levels anyway, so you might as well have the rules contain as few complications as possible.

That still implies that any member of a race more intelligent than humans are also more experienced. Still does not make sense.

Wouldn't be easier to let LA count as levels in regards to feats then ?

Anyway my real point was that if you limit yourself to playing races with +1-2 LA its no big problem. And races with higher LA are hard to judge correctly anyway, they are likely to be to weak at low level play and to strong at high level play.
