Level on Power Word: Disarm?

I'm curious how many people in here actually use cantrips with saves against enemies? Will Save of 10 + int... blah!!

At low levels, daze can be a lifesaver.

So can this spell he mentioned... for a few levels and then never used again

I'd put it on par with a 1st-level spell, like command because it lacks one of the major restrictions of that spell: language. You can disarm a troll barbarian, just as good as a human fighter.

You are right about it being less versitile than grease though. It's a hard call.

I'm not opposed to bumping it up to level 1, although I'd probably want to improve the range in that case.
