Lexx

Tinker Gnome

Adventurer
I saw two episodes of this show late one Friday night and I found it entertaining a bit weird, but entertaining non the less. Has anyone else seen any of it?

Here is an excerpt from a fan site.

The Lexx is a biomechanical insectoid spaceship about the size of Manhatten with an IQ of around 3. It also happens to be the most powerful weapon of destruction in the universe, capable of blowing up entire planets with one blast from its occular parabola (that's eyes to you and me). Its eclectic crew is comprised of one handsome, dead, 6,000 year old assassin - Kai, last of the Brunnen-G; one beautiful, genetically-modified, love slave/cluster lizard hybrid - Xev Bellringer of B3K; and one Security Guard class four - the Lexx's Captain, Stanley Tweedle. There's also 790, the de-bodied robot drone.

Here is a link to it.

Weird show, with lots of its own mythology; I've seen the first two seasons (well, the minis and the next season). When it's firing on all cylinders, it's really cool (and the music can get awesome). When it's not (and this happens a lot), it's really odd and kinda crappy. For so is my opinion.

I'd still watch it if it were on here.

I would too, but it seems to have dissapeared from its time slot of 2:00A.M. to 4:00 A.M.(Two episodes) on Friday nights/very early mondays mornings.

Yeah, that really describes it well.
The mythology was interesting...

It's over raited
Are you kiddin'? That show gets banged like Jenna Jameson on a good day.

I think it's really underrated. People don't give it enough credit. It's silly. It's
fun. It's weird. It's not for everyone's tastes.

A really fun but uneven show. Definitely low budget. But a creatively built universe. Stanley H. Tweedle is a great character with more layers than seems at first.

Very quirky. I have to agree, when it was on it was very good. When it was off, it was terrible. And the final season was 80% off.
