I'm currently hosting a 3.5 Edition DnD Campaign on maptool. It was going well until one player had connectivity issues that they were unable to resolve. Since they were a key part of the campaign, we couldn't continue and eventually disbanded.
I could re-create it with the old people and add two or three new guys, but I'd rather start fresh with some new faces. Anyway - enough about this, I just wanted to establish some honesty ^^
The campaign is set in Faerun, in Amn more importantly (at least in it's initial stages). Your characters would begin at level 1 but with rapid progression. I would require that you be active, as to have two or three sessions per week each one lasting more than two hours if possible.
It's RP-Heavy, at least in the sense that I expect every player to be literate and be descriptive in their actions. I'm not a clonflictive DM and I'm open to anything you might want to talk about regarding variations to rules or things of the sort.
I'm aiming to have an active party of at least 4 people, 6 max, but no more as not only would most of the encounters be too easy. Also, I would prefer (but we can discuss it of course), if you only chose from the basic 12 classes available in the PHB, and as far as races are concerned used those that exist within Faerun.
Any alignment is allowed so long as you realize that conflicting alignments will of course cause issued in game. But I'm cool with it if you like that kind of back-and-forth. I encourage players to play colourful characters with deep personalities and complex backstories and I also enjoy making character-specific quests at key levels to unlock certain bonus abilities or an extra feat and stuff like that, which is of course outside of the normal rules.
Other than this, if you've kept up thus far, we can iron out any details and I can tell you whether you have a spot or not by contacting me thusly:

Eventually I hope that everyone in the group has either AIM or MSN so you can contact each other, and so that we can make a group chat or just meet up on Maptool to discuss this further. I'm a 'long-time reader, first-time' poster here on Enworld, so if you reply to the topic here I might not check it right away ^^ I do try to be onine on AIM/MSN as often as I can though.
