LGJ - The Gem of the Flaness series.

So Iwas looking at LGJ #5, and it said the following:

GEM OF THE FLANAESS CONTINUES!
Point your Web browser to www.livinggreyhawk.com for monthly quarter-by-quarter coverage of the most important city of the Greyhawk Campaign. There are nearly a dozen more neighborhoods to cover, so look for Gem of the Flanaess to continue for a year or more, brought to you by the same creative minds who kicked off the series. See you online!

So did this ever happen? First up the webaddress is wrong, second I would have thought I would have heard about it if it had. The Clerkburg stuff was cool, so I'd like to see the rest.

And if it didn't happen, Erik if you're reading this, could it?

No, it did not happen. Basically, I bit off more than I could chew trying to transition Poly to a new company and didn't have the time required to finish the series on my own.

I have, however, recently re-engaged my City of Greyhawk material and am working on a way to restart the series in some capacity. It just so happens that I plan to print a series of adventures using Greyhawk as a background for Dungeon next year, so I'm hip-deep in research on the city.

I can't promise anything in the short term, but I _do_ want to get back to this project and _will_ finish the city, eventually.

Erik, glad to hear it. I've been thrilled with the Greyhawk content that you've managed to put into some of the modules and material lately. Of course, I've been quite happy with Dungeon in general for some time.

Thanks.

All of that is great news. Thanks Erik!

Woohooo!! That's great news Erik, in terms of both the articles' ressurrection and that you're going to be writing adventures in the City of Greyhawk next year! :D

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but it occurs to me that if Erik were to ever leave Paizo, then the hope of ever seeing new Greyhawk material again is doomed.

Erik, my hat is off to you for your determination. You are by far the only person left in the WotC/Paizo camp who has uttered the word "Flanaess" publically for quite a while. :)

This is very true.

Thanks Erik!
