I'm going to make some mechanical changes to the way characters build up. This is the heads up. Changes are here.

These are major changes. First off, under the new experience table, many of you would become level 5. However, I'm changing the racial material as well. Now many of you have at least 1 new ability, if you lost anything double check with me to make-sure the new version is correct. The list might not be perfect yet, I spent a good hour editing and re-editing the list last night, and still happen to find errors at every glance.

If you are an Argonian (Brawn), Imperial (Mak), Dark Elf (Khala), or Breton (Krindor and Khelon), I'm now raising the bar on ECL 1 notch. If your not any of these races (Ok, so it doesn't apply to anyone), then you will still go to level 5, however, the rest of you will now lose a single level. That still makes you level 4, and you still gain a level over what you would be at due to the xp table change over.

If this confuses you, just ask. I hope the benefits make up for the 'percieved' level loss, but if you don't feel that it's appropriate, I'll look into your concern of course, as I'm a pretty friendly DM.

Summary: Everyone gains 1 level, and uses my experience chart that's been revised for PbP. You use the 'xp' requirement for 6th level to gain your 5th level. Everyone still in this game is on the same going rate, by the way. If anyone wants to swap out a character, email me about it, since it will require not only designing the new character, but discovering where the old one was headed.

Bump..

Khala wakes up feeling odd at first, then the odd feeling subsides.
He says to no one in particular, "Hmm...time to find information."
Khala gets ready and heads downstairs and wanders around town for a bit finding a semi-crowded place for food.

Mak wakes up very late in the morning, after some dreams about Krindor, Jayle and the Lady Sorceress that defy the laws of physics, anatomy and good taste. He leaves a note in his room saying that he went out 'looking for troubles', then he heads for a market.

There are also a few street vendors, selling exotic meat breaded and fried on straight wooden sticks, and unfamiliar fluffy curled pink clouds. (A few copper)

The imperial tries everything the street vendors have to offer, then he looks around for anything interesting, especially weapons, and looks for the place where bounties are affixed. He also pays attention if he notices any cutpurse at work.

Brawn wakes up from the comfy sleep feeling refreshed as he's been in quite a while... probably since the nesting grounds back at home, where he woke up that morning after bedding that hot-to-trot Hornhead, Rhita - oh! Brawn's mind was wanderin' this morn'.

. o 0 (Better start out the day with a squat and prayers to the Maker... gee, I seem awfully 'in-tune' with my spiritual side today... musta been the good sleep after a hard day's work.)

Brawn finishes his prayers, collects himself (and things) and goes to get a meal with the clerics, paying respects and a modest fee, as Diplomacy expects.

OOC: I leveled him up in cleric

Brawn later sees a passing vendor, and exclaims "OOh! What a delightful colored food. It smells so sweet - may I have one?"

The naive Saurial pays the vendor and enjoys the cloyingly sweet treat, before wandering back to the others, enjoying the sights and smells of the city, every scent a new experience.

however I currently feel that you are within the rights to be awarded virtues or knighthood depending on the path you choose to take. Anything else will come out through play.
I think I'll pick virtues. Right now I feel Krindor is following the ideals of paladinhood, not trying to become a knight.
BTW, does her weapon follow the new XP table too?

You find that Allimon isn't the home to much obvious theft. The biggest theft you can spot is the man selling 'magic pearls' for two hundred gold coins a piece, when everyone knows a pearl shouldn't be worth more than one hundred or fifty on average.

On your way around town, you notice nine burly looking city watchmen running after a girl running right at you. She seems to be clutching a blanket wrapped around something small, which she is very concerned to protect. The watchmen are yelling some sort of swears and hurriedly chasing after her.
