(LHHS) The Light Hearted Hack n' Slash Game (III)

Khala looks around for the woman for a few minutes before deciding she is beyond seeking in the time he has left and walks back towards the church district.
Actually, it only takes a few seconds before a light green skinned argonian approaches you from the front, in his red and brown shirt with a brownish cape and some rather baggy and worn down slacks...

He asks you what your doing in slum town, and seems to sort of smile a bit before he notices someone approaching you from behind.

He shouts out, "Sloook!" and draws a mithril looking knife. The approaching person from behind is a ratty looking lion faced Khajitte with a spiked club. He doesn't seem to want to strike you, but he is armed, and was approaching you from behind.

Your reaction first...

The sounds of metal chiming and clunking perfectly in sync with each other is suddenly heard a short distance away, and quickly gets louder.

Covered almost completely from head to toe in obsidian-shaded armor, complimented by wicked spikes protruding all over it, the man...or perhaps monster behind the Khajitte looks straight ahead with grim determination. A fanged snarl compliments his temperment as he readies a very sharp battleaxe, obviously well-kept and used often.

"Run." He speaks in common to the catman as he closes the remaining space left between the two.

OOC-Current Spells Active: Extended Bull's Strength +3 strength (Strength score now 22), duration: 10 hours - the amount it took getting here after donning his armor.

"Just take your club and head back the other way, friend."

*5 ft step to the right so as to not be flanked by them*

"And you, friend, put away your knife."

Readied action should the man with the club still come forward - Shatter on club

Seeing that the letter contains no info of the assumed half-nymph that was captive, Krindor heads out to see the impressario after enjoying a quick clean up to get rid of the sweat and donning her armor.

The Khajitte and Argonian look at each other in the eyes, upon the intrussion of the extremely heavily armed Orc warrior. They each keep their weapons drawn. The Lizardfolk says to the Orc, "Whass you doing here? You don'gt belongt in the slumss..."

The Khajitte looks confused, like his thoughts were just severely interrupted, and his club shifts into one hand and leans on the ground heavily as if he was really confounded now. He turns to the orc and waits a second before thinking of what words to say, "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt 'em. I just want to know where my babies gone to."

The Argonian seems a bit disgusted, and seems to glance over to his left, behind a nearby shanty, before confronting everyone's stares. He looks particularly disgusted with the orc, and states, "I'm not sure why your in MY sides of the streets, but your shouldn't be here. I'm nots gonna take dis. You need to get out a heres, with your friend to. I gotsta talk with my friends here, and if we is disturbed by a buncha strangers we ain't gonna get no business done."

The Khajitte looks around, and walks behind the group from here, glances over in the same direction that the argonian just checked out, and begins dumbly walking in that direction. The Argonian's response is to bug out and stand in his way, still clutching his minor weapon, "Heys, you don't want no slavas gettins your kids? Does you? I'm not gonna let you sees them till all the strangers is gone."

The Khajitte continues to stare dumbly behind the argonian, drooling happily a bit as he thinks about something, but he still holds himself there.

As the Impressarrio is asleep, only Jayle is around to greet you around lunchtime. She doesn't seem one bit more tired than she was when you saw her last night. When you enter her quarters, she's sitting down to a large ham sandwich, some dark yellow cheese substance, and a great deal of red wine. Some would think she eats like a man. When you approach, she seems relatively happy, and not displeasured that your visiting. With her mouth full, she reaches under her desk, and in a muffled voice tries to talk to you. When she comes up, she has a large envelope and she swallows before finally speaking clearly, "You're here concerning the Iron Maiden? Yes, I have found something particular to your case. Nobody has seen or heard of any girl being held captive inside the room, but late at night it was reported by her watchman that he could here screaming, most likely coming out of a nightmare, coming from her. Here's the deal, if you want to confront her, that's fine, but if you draw your blade before she does, you'll be executed. If you get what I'm saying, go ahead and barge in, ask her what she's doing, and if she draws her blade first, you have my permission to cut her down."

She looks at you, without any emotion, and states, "Oh, I'm going with you. She's tough, but not that tough. You want to do this, or are your virtues somewhere else? I'm all about courage and honor, and if there is a problem I want it ended immediately. If there isn't, then I want to know so I do not need to hide my feelings on the matter."

After exploring the town a bit, Brawn goes back to wherever he was going to be meeting up again with the others.
You find yourself in the market square just outside of the largest church in the city. There isn't a great deal of motion going on, but an herbalist does accost you. He's a short little man, with a thin little beard and huge mustache. His selling line is something along the lines of, "Hey, you, the big dragon-ling, get the hell over here and smell this tea."

The old man says it with a soft voice, and doesn't seem all that insulting as much as pushy about his products to vend. He's trying to sell 'herbal teas' of the magic variety, and different varieties of smoking herbs and other strange and over-priced imported alchemical components.

Khala looks around confused, deciding to play defensive and to use shatter on any weapon that is going to attack him.

"Everyone, put away your weapons or you won't have them anymore. Now, I was following a woman carrying a child here. Show me where I can find her and I'll leave you to your peace."

The Argonian seems startled, turns over to you, and says, "So that's why your here. I'm going to have to ask you to explain why then, and I'm going to need that Slaver's Friend to leave right now." The Argonian points his finger at the Orc, and then turns his head over to the Khajitte to whisper something...
