Granted, but he also did the XPH, which was fantastic.

At any rate, Draconomicon was fantastic, and if Libris Mortis is like it, then I'll be happy.

Ya, I guess in the creative industry it can be hit and miss sometimes. Especially when deadlines and economics come into play.

It looks like Andy Collins is co-author anyway and he did a good job with Draconomicon. :)

I like the subtle change that has been made on the upcomming products list on the main page...

You had me looking for something special on Wizards' main D&D page before I thought of checking ENWorld's news page... :heh:

Yes. Otherwise, you wouldn't have cornugon, gelugon, osyluth, and all those devil names with latin roots and fancy suffixes.

It's being written by Bruce Cordell, I think, so I wonder if he'll borrow stuff from the great "Return to the Tomb of Horrors" he wrote?
As long as he doesn't borrow stuff from the Heart of Nightfang Spire... ;)

Otherwise we might be tormented even more with monk mummies, wight assassins and *gleep* gibbering mouther vampires... :D

I think bruce will do this one ok. He rocks at one thing: Ecology. Thats why his dungeons kick arse (for the most part) and why the Illithiad was so good. Planar handbook wasn't that bad and he does have Manual of the Planes under his belt too.

Aaron.

undead ecology? isn't that an oxymoron? ;) i remember the Ecology section in 2E for about half of the undead creatures i read saying little more than "This creature is not alive and contributes or uses nothing from its natural environment." ;)
