Light spell Question.

I am trying to find a "light" spell that is higher than level 4, either divine or arcane. Can someone help me out here and the reference does not matter at all either, we use all the books except for R&R (not sure why we don't use this line of books yet, but guess we havn't looked into them enough).

Heighten Spell is your friend.
I think a 4th-level Heightened Continual Flame will still be useful inside an area of Deeper Darkness.

Good point I forgot about the hieghten spell feat. My reason for asking is my bad guys are about to cast the spell damning Darkness which is from BoVD. This spell works just like Deeper Darkness but it also damages those of good alignment by 2d4 per round with no save and no SR. This spell is also a 4th level spell, if I use the Heighten feat would the damage go up as well and if so how much would it go up? Lets assume that I hieghten it up to level 8 what woudl the effects be?

Heighten just changes the level of the spell, so it has no impact on damage. The main uses for heighten is to increase the DC of the save against the spell, and to allow the spell to defeat "Stops all spells of level X and lower" type spells.
