Light vs. Dark - Soth vs Sabaron!

Not one for continued words, Soth (having pushed back the last goodness of MidKnight) advances on Sabaron. Soth sides into the Warrior of Light, swinging his arms out like the mantis. He attemps to knock Sabaron back to the ground.

Soth rolls to the side and rises, he then applies the 'boot' to Sabaron's chest as he lies on the ground. Stepping clear of the arms and legs of the doomed fighter.

The mantis tramples the tundra; guards against the touch of the body!

ouch - this one was tough

The judges ponder long and hard. Both offenses were good and well matched. Neither move was aided by the day, the place or the time of day. Finally the judges decide that the dark one's defense was slightly better.

Point and Match to Soth

Advancement will follow the fighter's wrap up... MidKnight first and then Sabaron and then advancement

As Soth raises his black sword to finish the job, the last vestage of MidKnight's soul intervenes.

"I've stopped the Demon for the time being my friend, please move quickly as I do not believe I can control him for much longer.

The Demon has become too powerful for me to co-exisist with any longer. This will be the final time that I will appear in these lands. Until we meet again my friend..."

MidKnight reaches for Sabaron's hand one last time before leaving forever...

MERCY

Sabaron grabs MidKnight's hand.

"Goodbye, my friend, and thank you. You were the best friend I had in this land... may your soul rest in peace, after your terrible ordeal is over...

Sabaron begins to walk away from his friend. Before he gets very far, he turns around, seeing MidKnight's face wracked with the turmoil from fighting the demon. Seeing this horrific visage, he runs, knowing that there is nothing left of MidKnight now...

Soth You have advanced 2 ranks from this fight. You now have a 7-6 record and are a Dark Apprentice 1.

Sabaron Declaring this a death match when you did not need to has hurt you badly. You have lost three ranks and are now a Light Apprentice, Fallen from Grace with a 3-3 record. This is a dangerous time for you.
