Lion's Charge - too powerful?

How will it effect the game?
-As long as 3.5e keeps the "on the back of a charging mount" vs. charging yourself distinction WRT lances, Rhino Hide, and Spirited Charge, it probably won't break anything except Rhino Hide armor. (And that won't be any more broken than it is already if only the first attack is interpreted as receiving the benefits of charging).

BTW, there is now a feat that does what a Rhino Hide armor does (i.e. double your damage on a charge).

This could cause a beefed up half-orc with 30+ strength getting an extra 40+ damage on a single hit (or 80+ damage with a critical) or much, much more, depending on the extra things (like shocking burst / thundering) on his weapon.

(how 30+ strength? For a 9th level half-orc BBN, Starting 20 + 2 ability points + bull's strength + righteous might + divine favor....)

Is that feat going to be core? Or is it in the Kingdoms of Kalamar book next to Irresistable Spell and the Channel Negative Energy feat that lets you inflict your wisdom bonus in negative levels on anyone within 60 feet without a save. (Energy Drain at will without the touch attack! And available at first level to boot!)

If it's core then spells like Lion's charge have to reckon with it (making the "only the first attack gets the benefit of charging" rule even more vital). Otherwise interactions like that are something that DMs have to consider when they decide what non-core items/feats/spells into their game (and adjudicating how they work) but that you can't expect designers to make stuff that will stay balanced no matter what 3rd party stuff you toss into the mix.

The feat is in the new Races of Faerun book and it's called Headlong Rush. It provokes an attack of opportunity from all who threaten the path, including the target. Otherwise it's exactly like a normal charge. It deals double damage on a hit.

I am still confused on this spell... Could a Fighter with this spell on him, charge (move + 1 attack) and then do a Whirlwind Attack (assuming he had the feat)?

How effective is this spell on a non-dual wielding fighter with only 1 attack? Would it allow a charge and then another Full-round attack (which would just be 1 more attack in this case)? Or do you need those secondary attacks in order to make use of them?

Basically, I am confused if this gives you a free Full-round attack OR if it gives you the option of making a full-round attack, but you still need the "extra" attacks to begin with.
