Liquidated D&D Minis and Books -- Austin, TX

I assume this is true for all Half-Price Books but so far I've only gone into the one on North Lamar and seen this.

Lots of 3e adventures and books, and D&D Minis starters, are priced to sell at Half-Price Books. Since it has the HPB barcode/sticker and not their usual price tag, and they have so damned many of them, I'm fairly certain a liquidator somewhere has gotten their hands on a lot of inventory (it's how you can usually spot liquidated merchandise).

So anyone looking for $30 books priced at $10 might want to check Half-Price Books.

What I was surprised to see was the SW Minis scenario book that was released a year ago. I guess others agreed that $30 was too much. The HPB had a stack of them for $10/each.

Any starter sets of the old Harbringer miniatures? I'm dying to find an Umber Hulk but I'm not paying $20-$40 for it. I'd rather take a chance with the random stuff!

I didn't notice the exact sets but I _think_ it was just the basic starter and boosters. I just saw that there were a lot of them hanging on pegs.

The D&D stuff at the store by me keeps the stuff by the computer games, even though I was told it was by the board games.

They were sitting by table right by the front door, within sight of the register.

Also, I was incorrect, I picked them up at HPB on 86th on the NW side of Indy. I'll edit the other post.

At the HPB I was in they were on an end cap.
