List of *active* D20 Publishers?

First Post
Hi all,

Is anyone aware of an online list of active D20 publishers, circa mid-2005? I've fallen out of touch with the non-Wizards d20 community in the past few years, and am trying to determine who still publishes.

Thanks,

Shawn

From the top of my head, here's a list of print publishers (and I'm probably forgetting someone) still in the d20 game:

AEG (World's Largest Dungeon, Spycraft 2.0)
Atlas Games (Northern Crown)
Bad Axe Games (Grim Tales)
Bastion Press (Oathbound and general d20)
Dark Quest Games
Expeditious Retreat Press
Fantasy Flight Games (Midnight)
Goodman Games (Dungeon Crawl Classics)
Green Ronin
Guardians of Order
Kenzer (Kalamar)
Malhavoc
Mongoose (ton o' stuff)
Necromancer (adventures)
Paradigm Concepts (Arcanis)
Privateer Press (Iron Kingdoms)
Red Spire Press (Dark Legacies)
RPGObjects
Sovereign Press (Dragonlance)
Sword & Sorcery (Warcraft)
Wizards of the Coast

It'd be fairly easy to do a list of the active print publishers, as the ranks have thinned considerably. The number of e-publishers is expanding all the time though, so it'd be harder to make such a list. Just going to rpgnow would probably be a good start though.

Green Ronin, of course, has been in it from Day 1 and we are definitely active.

I don't know of a list of only active publishers, but pen-paper.net has a very good list of RPG publishers.

Wow ... that's a big list...

For that matter, the EN world database is plenty fine, except that it includes a lot of dead publishers that only produced 0 - 5 products. So perhaps we'll have to make the list ourselves.

Yeah, you heard me...

ROLL CALL!!!

Accounted for:

Necromancer
Green Ronin
Mahalavoc
Fiery Dragon
Paizo
Arthaus / Ravenloft
Mongoose

Unknown:
Alderac (Have they done anything since the World's Largest Dungeon?)
Sword Sorcery - Scarred Lands

I think they have had 2 or 3 Spycraft books since WLD, and Spycraft 2.0 is due out any day now.

Sword Sorcery - Scarred Lands

Scarred Lands, much to Nightfall's chagrin, ist kaput.

However, they just barely released World of Warcraft RPG, and are supporting Ravenloft (though I think RL is technically Arthaus, though I am not sure there is much of a distinction anymore.)

As Steve said, Expeditious Retreat Press is still active. We'll have two new releases at GenCon 2005. The ENnie nominated A Magical Society: Beast Builder and the 3rd in the Monster Geographica Series, Forest.

We're continually publishing smaller PDFs about 1 a month or so.

Parent's Basement Games is slowly but surely getting our act together for some PDFs and module support.

We're also meeting this weekend to pick out an area to target next and expand Murchad's Legacy. So give a shout out if any y'all want to see something in particular.
