Anyway, I checked, but did not approve Tander for nerdytenor. Made several pretty standard corrections, but I have two problems which stopped me approving him.

The main problem is that Tander is a cleric who does not know who his god is. I find this problematic as it would seem difficult to pray to a god if you don't know which one is granting you powers. I would also like to see more of the settings gods explored. I think it would be relatively easy to maintain the heart of Tander's background and allow him to know his god.

Overall I am not inclined to approve it, but I felt this issue should be put to the group at large.

I did not feel this was an issue only for judges so I thought I'd post here for input, and so nerdytenor can respond, etc.

Oh and you lso need to select you additional at will power Nerdytenor, I am fairly certain you cannot hold onto it.

Hello there, and thanks for taking the time to look at my submission. I'll add the extra at-will power tonight (not that it'll get used with 8 str :)). I'll let some others weigh in on the religion thing before I change that. One possible fluff adjustment would be that Tander hears a divine voice which he prays to and communicates with, but it does not reveal itself for some unknown reason.

Hmm, I still think its problematic what would his holy symbol be for example. But yes we do need to wait for others to weigh in on this, if it was clearly unallowable I wouldn't have posted questioning its validity so we will see what others say.

As for the the pantheon and god specific feats I am currently working on a proposal. My current inclination is to distribute the PHB feats amongst the Pantheon thematically, with a number of gods having access to each feat. Seems safer than proposing our own feats for the moment, but I am also exploring that option.

That sounds like a wise choice. A little flavor goes a long way... :)

Could I ask for a hold on amnesiacs for the moment folks, we have three so far to my knowledge, which is a pretty big slice of the current community! Two of the three were dragged out of the sea to!

I can picture the scene on a small fishing boat off the Daunton coast...

"Hey that looks like a big on Borris!"

"Yeah help me haul it in!"

"Aw damn, its just another amnesiac!"

LOL

Not that I disapprove of any of the three characters I just think three is enough, for now at least.

Approved Ts'iri for elecgraystone.

And that's true Incarnation was forgetting who he was before Ts'iri was born possibly, of course they don't remember that, but, err...

At least it looks like our two Giths should get along for my Ebon Mirror game! I'm going to have to see if I can't integrate some Gith centric plots!

LOL That is weird to have that many independently come up with that. Amnesia just seemed the perfect hook for someone from a land in the middle of a war with psychics. And the sea just made sense since I had to make it all the way from Ea! :p

As far as clerics and gods, in 4e the only things god picks change is what feats you can pick mechanically. For now why not have him pick a PHB god then figure out which god it's close to in this world. Also, I'd let the same ritual that changes armor and weapons sizes also change the god for magic holy symbols. (Proposal 3)

As far as Proposal 1, I think there should be some weight increase for large weapons but double seems too big. +50% sounds about right to me. That makes the heaviest weapons, like a maul, 18 lbs instead of 12 lbs
