Living Vault -- Magic Immunity (Ex) ability

In the epic level hand book the living vault's magic immunity extrodinary ability says the vault is immune to all magical and supernatural effects except as noted. The only effect listed are the effects from a freedom spell.

I can read this a couple of different ways. I would like the boards opinion on the matter.
This issues up for debate are these:
Does this protection apply equally to area of effect spells and to targeted spells?

Would anitmagic field affect this creatures Sp and Su abilities?
(This one becomes moot depending on how the above question works itself out.)

Thanks,

Magic Immunity is treated as unbeatable Spell Resistance. It is immune to spells that are susceptible to SR. Spells that ignore SR affect it normally.

Magic Immunity works like infinite spell resistance. It applies only to spells which are subject to SR.

Whether a spell has a target or an area is irrelevant to this question. Just check the spell stat block and see whether SR applies. If yes, the living vault is immune to that spell; if not, the spell does not directly affect the immune creature, and so has its normal effect.

Antimagic Field is only subject to SR when it attempts to suppress a summoned or conjured creature. It always suppresses supernatural and spell-like abilities, and spells.

Magic Immunity is different from Spell Immunity.
Spell Immunity is treated as unbeatable SR, but Magic Immunity makes a creature immune to Supernatural effects too.
And Supernatural abilities are not subject to spell resistance...
