LN vs. N: Lawful Neutral Victorious!

Round 610

OOC: I assume that means charge.

Igor charges to 40N50E and Super Elemental misses the AoO. (rolled 34-16)

Igor misses. (Rolled 26+2)

SE eases up a little on his swing and hits twice. (Rolled 51-8 & 41-8) Igor takes 67-20 plus 22 fire plus 8 electricity and has 10 hp left.

Round 611: Full attack for Igor now. One hit and one miss. (Rolled 37 & 27) SE takes 32-10 and has 384 hp left.

SE pounds for 30-10 plus 9 fire plus 7 electricity. Igor is destroyed.

Next for LN: a justicator. (MM III)

Lucky flies into the arena to 35N50E and casts plane shift defensively, then tries to touch Super Elemental and send it far, far, away. Lucky appears to be a large human male with black-and-white feathered wings, dressed in mithral full plate and holding a silvery greatsword in one hand.

Lucky would also like to know what he knows about Super Elemental, including languages spoken.

Round 611

Super Elemental hits with an AoO as Lucky approaches. (Rolled 36-8) Lucky takes 33-10 plus 8 fire plus 5 electricity and has 74 hp left.

Lucky concentrates and touches SE. (Rolled 23) SE decides to stay. (Rolled natural 20 Will save)

Round 612: SE swings a little harder and misses twice! (Rolled 34-12 & 35-12)

Lucky has not studied up on a bizarre monstrosity such as Super Elemental. Only the best sages have a chance to research them, and only if they have access to massive libraries filled with arcane tomes about the planes. (DC is 42!)

I think you got the rolls for the Concentration check and the Will save switched. :(
Hey, no roll was needed for the Concentration check, because it was an automatic success, so your roll of 1 should have been for the Will save, right? :uhoh:

Full attack.

All of the hidden cameras mounted in the Mechanus Arena are splattered with the blood of the best LN has yet to throw against the Super Elemental. The fighting is momentarily suspended while custodial members of the Shearing Pen, the sponsoring commercial organization, are ordered to go clean the cameras. After a near mutiny, however, no one is sent out to work around the Super Elemental and the cameras are left as is.

The poor, misunderstood elemental just wishes everyone could get along.
Barring that, he hopes to obliterate anything LN sends into the arena.

Since the latter is more likely, and future endorsement deals may depend on whether the bots can record the footage clearly, he takes a moment to wipe off the cameras before he returns to kicking the the living crap of his next opponent.

Lucky hits once for 19-10=9. Super Elemental has 375 hp left.

Round 613: SE swings a little easier and hits twice. Lucky takes 58-20 plus 23 fire plus 10 electricity and has 3 hp left.

Apparently Super Elemental likes to tease his victims by giving them one last chance before he crushes them into paste.

"I only need to hit it 42 more times before it hits me once."

Lucky, wondering how he got his name, and wishing he saved his plane shift to get himself out of there, tries a full attack again.

Lucky hits twice this time for 37-20=17. SE has 358 hp left.

Round 614: SE hits for 27-10 plus 12 fire plus 8 electricity. Lucky is dead.

Next for LN: an adult rust dragon. (Draconomicon)

Corrocy, like most of his kind, is not the brightest dragon around. Nevertheless, he can tell when he is seriously overmatched. He enters the arena to 100N10E, then burrows deep into the ground, hoping Super Elemental cannot follow him.

If Super Elemental cannot follow, Corrocy will be happy to take the draw, as will the next few Lawful Neutrals waiting to come into the arena.
