Login Trouble

Specifically, although I can login easily, the boards seem to be utterly ignoring my "Stay logged-in" checkbox and logs me out every time I leave the site-- and, sometimes, logging me out while I am still browsing the site. I'll read a thread and find myself unable to reply because I have been logged out.

I've checked my cookie settings, and they aren't the problem.

No problem! It's an often enough asked question even still, so my apologies if I was terse.

Although, I had to actually stop and debate whether you were being sarcastic or not in your response. I know that says something about me, but I don't know what...

I didn't read any sarcasticness in his reply at all, LightPhaonix.

When reading on the internet, it's always best NOT to assume the person is being snippy.

It was obviously not sarcastic, and yet I still had to debate the point. Hence my comment.

Perhaps you should put that in the FAQ or something? I have been away from the boards for a while so I completely missed the server move. I was ready to tear my network down and rebuild it. :) The boards work like a charm, now.

Well, to be fair, there were big announcements about it up for around a month or two if I recall correctly. At this point, it shouldn't really need to be spelled out for people. No offense intended.

What I think really needs to be done is to stop having the cyberstreet address point to the site, if possible. That would end all of the problems right there. No clue if that's possible, or a desired change.
