I want to say stuff like this makes me laugh but it's scary that there are people who think this way in the world, not just about roleplaying, but everything in the world. People have this tunnel vision and anything outside their line of sight is wrong and evil. Reading stuff like that accually makes me worry about the world we live in.

As a Christian, I am offended by tracts such as this. To mingle Jesus and holy scripture with rediculous proclamations about D&D or rock music is beyond belief. I hope most gamers understand that this is not the doctrine of most Christian churches.

Honestly, Jack Chick may be a very nice guy, but he is clearly misinformed about the nature of RPGs. Yeah, I know, I failed my save vs. troll.

Unfortunately there are people who take this crap as the truth. My Roomate's parents being one of them. Of course he plays DnD with us every weekend. We have to hide the DnD books when his parents visit.

I know that unfortunately there still are people who think RPGs are "evil". I don't think that anyone takes Jack Chick seriously. He has similar tracts damning to hell just about everything and everyone I can think of, including most of the mainstream Christianity currents IIRC.
