A wee bias

Very good, Irony. You've proven that you can tell a story without putting in a single mistruth, yet slanting everything to your advantage.

Offer whatever sympathy you want, but Irony here has been leaving a few things out. Such as, his plots don't necessarily make sense, his campaigns are barely a level above the hack-and-slash he condemned, and he uses kobolds WAY TOO MUCH.

Also, he has a constant supply of crude humor cropping up in his plots. Any wonder that the players respond with the same?

I'm sorry, Irony, but no sympthay. And if you turn me upsidedown at school on Monday, I'll have Russ hurt you.

Not-so-sincerely,
ReiDuck

ReiDuck,

I'm guessing you are one of the players from this group? and new to ENWorld.

First off, and most importantly, this community (yes thats what it is) does not take well to threats against other members, so please STOP, now.

If said person does something inappropriate, being its at school, I'm sure their is someone that could take care of it in a proper maner.

As for his version vs yours, thats just kinda the way things go, he said vs he said. The best you can do is present your version without being rude and let the members here make the call. Most of them are pretty good at seeing whats really going on.

Lastly sounds like you all have different things you want from the game and as mentioned above, would be best to go your seperate ways.

Good for you. The little info thing doesn't show where you are from but are there any local colleges or universities near you. They always have gaming clubs and (sometimes) more mature players. I would check those out.
A college group is highly unlikely to let in a player who is in middle school.

He's just going to have to deal with his own age group for a while.

Considering that these players are 12 - 13 years old, this behavoir is no suprise.

I'm actually in high school. And they are 15-16, compared to me at 17. But... point taken.

It would be hard, IMO, to use kobalds way too much. Would be like saying that a DM uses humans way too much, or +1 swords way to much, or something of the like. You might have been near a kobald town that does heavy trading with the human town.
Didya every play Baulder's Gate? Now there was a game that used kobalds. Much more, I'm sure, than your previous DM.

I wasn't there or anything, so I can't comment on the rest.
But Nightfall is right - one tends not to side with the one that makes threats. Just for future reference, of course.

arcady -
I originally made the same mistake that I think you have made, which is that you read:

1. I'm a junior in high school

as:

1. I'm in junior high school

Didn't he say that they're sophmores and juniors in high school?

Anyway, hack-and-slash is no more or less mature than roleplaying, just different. Ultimately, we're all sitting down together and pretending to be elves and dwarves and that we can wield arcanes magic and call upon godly miracles. If two people have different playing styles either they have to find some happy medium or not play together.
