I'm not familiar with DW2 other than what I read here. I think it's revamped for d20 Modern.

I had the first edition. It was good read, but I did my post-apocalyptic games with DragonStar and then the superior Omega World.

My Darwin's World book is for sale for $1 on eBay if you want to check it out for yourself on the cheap:
