D&D 2E looking for 2e kender rules

Can you tell me where I can find the 2e rules for kender? My son is playing in a 2e game and wants to be a kender. If you tell me the name of the book I can probably hunt it down on the internet.

The 2E box Tales of the Lance should have all you need for 2E play. The softback book found inside the box provides detailed information on kender abilities, skills, their function in society, their unique weapons and equipment, etc.
