Looking for a desert race...

Hi all,

I'm looking for a desert dwelling humanoid race, that has a bonus to Charisma and/or Intelligence. Ideally, should have no racial HD and be no more than LA +1 or +2.

Any suggestions?

Spellscales from Races of the Dragon have a Cha bonus, but are not inherintly a 'desert race' but I think they could be.

Failing a desert specific race, any race with a CHA/INT bonus at LA+1 or LA+2, so long as they could conceivably be found in a desert area (i.e. not aquatic or cold climate).

Aasimar come to mind first. Could be decended from the servants of some desert god or other celestial power interested in the desert. His powers could come from that heritage.

Thanks for the rpelies - after some thought, I'm going to go with a 1/2 Blue Dragon Human - fit's in with the desert, but is LA+3...I can live with that.
