Looking for a magic sheath...

I know I've seen it before, and so has the DM, anyhow I'm looking for a sheath that's the length of a dagger but it hides the true length of the sword, nothing to crazy just short sword size to dagger size, but we can't seem to remember what book this is in...

Can anyone help us?

Could that have been from an adventure maybe?

I think we found something like that once, a dagger sheath, which could actually hold any kind of bladed weapon.

IIRC it also worked like a scabbard of keen edges, tho.

Sure, I remember seeing that. It was in either first or second edition AD&D, though...dunno if they included it in 3.0/3.5.

Does it matter? You yunguns, these days. Just make up what works for your campaign.

I'll add my voice to the chorus of "just make it up" if it's what you need. I haven't seen anything like it, but it sounds cool, and now that you've brought it up, I think I'll be yoinking it.

Well your quite welcome to it. :)

As for making it up, yeah that's what we did before this post was even made... :) So this boils down to a need to satisfy my curiosity... :o I've seen this; she's seen it too, but where? That's the question I'm trying to answer here... :\

I believe it was a sheath of holding it could hold up to a great sword and look with the size of a dagger. It just hid the blade though so the hilt was sticking out. I think it was the complete fighter.
