The elder statesman of our group is celebrating a birthday this weekend and I want to run a one-shot solo adventure for his new char. The player is an old-school guy who plays his PCs like he is still playing 1E (I suspect he would prefer to warp back to 1E but the rest of the group is firmly entrenched in the here and now).

Can you offer any suggestions? I am looking for something I can purchase online and download in the next day or so, although I'm not opposed to FREE stuff as well. :p

The PC is a LG Gold Dwarf Ran5/Clr3 (Clangeddin Silverbeard).

Thanks again.

Hm, as far as I know, one-shot solo adventures are kind of hard to come by. You're probably better off making your own. Maybe you can model it after Indiana Jones or something.

Put him in a low level dungeon and let him cleave till his hearts content.
After all its his...

R-Hero, I like that! In fact, I think I will really send the dwarf over the edge by tying in a total hack-n-slash along with Phil's Mechanical Woodsman adventure. I've purchased many of Phil's other PDFs and I'm game to try this one based on my previous purchases (shameless plug for Phil).

Thanks for the ideas!

Hey, thanks for the plug! :)

Wasn't someone discussing a sourcebook on running one on one games for 3.5? Anyone know what the hell my brain is conjuring?
