Looking for Armor...

Can anyone point me to a kind of armor from WotC (3E or 3.5E) that is:

Medium type
made of metal
gives a +4/+4 or better AC bonus without modifications

I'm creating some armor ideas, and though I found one in a third-party book, I'd like to try & find a WotC one. Thanks in advance for any info.

Ringmail and the Bronze Breastplate, both from 3.0's Arms & Equipment Guide, both offer +4/+4.

Thanks for the Ringmail, Cignus. The Bronze Breastplate won't work for what I'm doing, because I'd need to change the material. If anyone's interested, I can post the armor idea I'm making later.

As I recall, Ashigaru armor from Oriental Adventures fits your bill: its either light or medium (I can't recall) made of metal, +3/+8 or some such, can be used with Datsana (Armor Sleeves) for an additional +1 AC bonus, and can still be used with shields.

And if you make it out of mithril...

Nope, Ashigaru is light armor, and is +3/+5.

Sorry, I meant to say that the armor needs to start out as +4/+4 or better, not after modifications.

I posted erroneously. Just to get it all straight (even if you can't use it):

Ashigaru armor is an OA all metal light armor that starts off as +3/+5, and cannotbe used with Datsana.

However, OA does have 2 Medium armors that fit the bill: Partial Armor (a stripped down suit of Samura armor) is +4/+4, and Lamellar is +5/+3.
