I've been in Anchorage for about a year now, and am currently DMing a group of pretty much brand new players. I'm looking for people that have some experience that I can get back into playing with, as opposed to just DMing, but I'm really only available on the weekends.

I wish i still lived up there. Once i left i realized how good i had it up there. Boscos is the heat!! Still havent found another gaming store that good.

Hi. I am from the Anchorage area also and looking for a group to play with. I haven't played in a couple of years so I am not as familiar w/ the 3.5 rules as most but I do pick up quick.

Yeah man Bosco's is pretty good, They have a lot of junk though, but what gaming shop doesn't I guess. When did you leave? Do you know anything about how Bosco's lets people use their tables for games?

Mizzat, the place we're talking about is on Spenard near Koot's, or they have a store in Dimond Mall, you should check it out if you get the time.

The one across from Koot's should have no problems letting you use a table there to game. As long as it dosent interfere with any of the tourneys they got going on there. I always played at my house on base, so was never an issue, but I did play heroclix there a few times when it wasnt a tourney, so its no big deal.

I left almost 2 years ago now. Couldnt stand my job up there, but loved the town. Id love to be back there doing something else for work. Enjoy it while you there, anchorage is a pretty good town (but then where i am now totally sucks)

Edwards huh? Yeah I'm in the Air Force and living in the dorms on Elmendorf. It's not so bad! Why don't you like Edwards? Just don't like the area?

It takes about 40 minutes to drive from my house in base housing to Lancaster which is the closest town. Its 14 miles form the "Welcome to Edwards" sign till you reach the main gate, all on one long road. everything is dirt brown, its hot as hell. Basically, very few people i know actually enjoy it here. Dont come down here if you have a choice.
