Looking for dice rolling spreadsheet

I *know* a few people here have these, so it can save me a ton of hassle.

I want to see what the average is for 4d8 drop lowest, 5d8 drop lowest 2, 6d8 drop lowest 3... up to 10d8 drop the lowest 7.


I have seen this (but can't find it searching) for d6's and character generation. I would gladly accept the spreadsheet, which I can then modify, or if don't want to send the sheet, just the results would be okay too.

All of the tests were done with 5000 permuations.

For 4d8 drop lowest the average is 15.64.
For 5d8 drop lowest two the average is 17.00
For 6d8 drop lowest three the average is 18.03
For 7d8 drop lowest four is 18.78
For 8d8 drop lowest five is 19.38
For 9d8 drop lowest six is 19.87
For 10d8 drop lowest seven is 20.25

By the way, this took me quite a while to figure out! In the end, I had to sort out the three highest values as opposed to dropping the lowest - but the result is the same. It took some effort to convince Excel how to handle multiple exact values. There's no formula for "Highest three" - only for the single highest value in a range. Just dropping that value out of the range dropped all equal values out, which would wash out multiple high values. I had to construct a sheet that would replace the first maximum value in the range with a letter, then compare the remaining values to the preceding values to see if any others had been dropped out. Then I had to repeat the same procedure on the new range (which had the previous high value removed).
