Looking for gay writers and designer for podcast interview.

I would contact Paizo, they have made it a point to include LGBT characters and themes in their adventures for awhile, and actively defend the choice to do so. If they don't have any open LGBT staff members, I'm sure they would be able to point you to some.

@Bullgrit I don't want to put words in the mouth of @Leviatham but...

The OP links to a previous episode where he did the same thing for women designers/writers. So I think not about content made by those authors, but it's just drawing attention to a minority, acknowledging them and showing their accomplishments. He likely asks their experiences in the industry. Perhaps to dispel myths, or inspire those who fall into that same category (like say, female gamers who fear the industry is stacked against them).

It's sort of like Black HIstory Month - making people aware of the contributions of a small subset within the RPG industry.

To give you a more concrete example, I have a significant disability. If there was a podcast or TV show or article that drew attention to the success stories/contributions of disabled professionals (like Stephen Hawking, like a blind lawyer, etc) then it would have made me feel much more confident in my ability to overcome adversity when I was younger.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to announce the latest episode of the podcast is out and we cover the subject of being gay in the gaming world and what it is to be gay and a gamer.

The objective of the podcast is to draw attention to the fact that, as a minority, gay people are indeed very present and active within the community. Also that games can help gay people come to terms with the sexuality, specially when they grow up in areas where homophobia is common ground. I know that very well because I went through that in Spain. I am only so aware that is happens everywhere.

Great interview with Steve Kenson, the creator of Mutants and Masterminds and some lively debate on sexism before that interview too!

You can get the episode on the link below:

Very much hoping you'll enjoy it. Feedback, as always, very welcome.

All the best,

Paco.
