Looking for GM

i'm not normally one for playing wierd characters (my stereotype is a human common man hero), but I was looking through Savage Species and stumbled across the Mind Flayer, now for some reason I've had an itching to play a Mind Flayer, stripped of his powers by their society and now out for revenge while trying to return to what he was.

The theory being that having to rely so much on others and forge friendships along the way he may become more than just an abomination and become a truly good character.

I'd like the game to have a very vs Mind-Flayers feel, even if not facing them directly to begin with (I'm sure we all know Mind Flayers can have many agents throughout the world). Ideally team up with some other oddball characters (though not necessarily oddball).

Starting level would be low, somewhere around level 1-5.

Would anyone be interested in DMing such a game for me (and other interested persons) or is it all just a silly idea that I need to forcibly eject from my brain?

I've been wanting to play a Drider for ages myself!
A drow cleric of high standing in one of the Drow cities. Somehow she lost Lolths favor, and was remade as a Drider. She now has taken up her sorcery as her new path, secretly plotting revenge on the house that de-throned her.

Heh, a gang of outcasts wants to start a war against Underdark... might be fun

That's the sort of thing I'm looking for... I don't want to DM though, the last 2 games I DM'd just fizzled out.
