Looking for more satisfactory starship rules than d20 Future - would d20 Mecha help?

short answer: pretty sure.

i'm exploring that same option myself. i need to re-read d20 Mecha now that i've got d20 Future. i know there's at least one sample starship statted out in d20 Mecha, so it should be possible.

the "mecha" in the title is really something of a misnomer, since the system can be used to create just about any type of vehicle. the question (for me at least) is whether or not starships created with the system match what i'm looking for. (and that i don't know yet.)

Don't forget that you can see the d20 Mecha rules, because they put them online in a SRD, like WOTC did with their SRD
